CHAPTER 7 ARYAN'S HEARTBREAK

Aryan returned to his private safe house, while Karan went back to his own home.

Aryan opened i********: and followed Sakshi and Priya.

After some time, both sisters accepted his follow request.

But Aryan didn't send either of them a message.

A few days later...

Sakshi posted an i********: story.

Aryan opened it.

In the story, Sakshi was smiling and looked happy with another young man. She had tagged him.

His name was Aadi.

Aryan immediately took a screenshot and messaged Priya.

Aryan: “Priya, who is this Aadi?”

Priya replied:

Priya: “He is Sakshi Didi’s new boyfriend. He lives in Bangalore.”

Aryan’s eyes filled with tears.

His heart broke.

Aryan: “Priya... tell me the truth.”

Priya: “It’s true, Bhaiya. He’s Didi’s new boyfriend.”

Aryan’s mind suddenly went back to his college days.

Sakshi used to live in the girls’ hostel, while Aryan lived in the boys’ hostel.

They were classmates.

They had first met while performing together at a college event.

Slowly, their friendship grew into love.

They would secretly bunk college and spend time together in the park.

They would eat pani puri together.

Sometimes, Aryan would take Sakshi on long bike rides, secretly skipping college.

Those memories came rushing back to Aryan.

He started crying.

After a long silence, Aryan messaged Priya.

Aryan: “Priya... is Sakshi happy?”

Priya: “Yes, Bhaiya. Didi is happy.”

Aryan and Sakshi had been together for six years.

Even during their degree and master’s studies, they had continued loving each other.

But now Aryan’s mind had gone completely blank.

His heart was broken.

Yet, deep inside, he thought:

Aryan: “If Sakshi is happy... then that is my happiness.”
