During the period of my imprisonment I met quite a lot of interesting and significant figures. Many of them influenced those people who are called criminals, and others belonged to those who had real power in the society.
However, I hardly ever met any person who is called a prisoner of conscience. Haiser Dzhemilev was the only one. However, at that time neither me, nor, probably, Haiser himself referred ourselves to this stratum of detainees. Later it appeared absolutely shocking that there were so many of us.
