The Worst Option I was terribly nervous, the brain was afraid of nothing but the body was getting crazy. The weakened health affected my heart and I was bent in half. The acute need of medical aid made me kick the prison door loudly but nobody reacted to the maddening noise as there was nobody in the basement. At last, having lost all the strength, I lay on the icy metal bed in my light prison robe to have a short rest. Since there were no windows I was lost in time and could not tell a day from a night. The tea boiler given to me when I was leaving EPKT helped me to get a bit warmer but the bed that emanated cold did its black deed.
