Chapter Four This could not be happening. No. This was not happening. Ruhi’s stomach disagreed with her as it squeezed out the orange juice she’d drank that morning. But no, even that small bit of citrus was gone. Only bile coated her tongue. This was not food poisoning as she’d hoped. That tuna salad sandwich that she’d thrown up yesterday was long gone from her system. So she knew it wasn’t that. She couldn’t bring herself to say what it could be. Instead, she did what any medical professional would do. She went through the symptoms. Her bra irritated her, and her breasts were super sensitive. She’d been visiting the bathroom more times than she cared to count over the last few days. She was tired as soon as she woke up, and she’d closed her office door to take a nap twice this week
