*Vegan's POV*
My eyes hurt so much even as I strolled along the hospital hallway. I got involved in an accident but miraculously I wasn't hurt anywhere.
I pushed the door wide open; I just needed rest right now before heading back to the house.
"Good day sir." A nurse greeted, she isn't the same person that had taken care of me a few hours ago but I was too weak to ponder on that.
"Sir, your kids are getting better. Their mom went to get dinner so I'm sure she'd be right back." The nurse started and left.
Wait a minute!
What kid is she talking about? No, she even said 'kids' which totally means they might be two or three.
When the nurse spoke, I searched her eyes if I could find anything like a lie but none was there making me stare blankly at the door.
What the hell does she mean?
"Daniella...." I heard the voice of a child call out.
Turning around, I was shocked.
For some minutes, my mouth was wide agape as I didn't know what to say. I tried forcing words out of my mouth but it seems that no word could form out of my vocals.
I stared at the cute kids—triplets and they looked at me with innocent cute puppy eyes.
"Good day sir." One greeted me.
My vocals to respond?
"Daniella, mom said don't talk to a stranger! " The boy who looks exactly like me scolded me.
" Were you sent by our mom? " Her brother shot her a glare, making her keep shut immediately.
"Hey, it's okay. I know I'm a stranger but I came to the hospital because I'm not well like you guys..." They didn't respond which means my presence wasn't needed.
But I wasn't going to leave them!
Or was it?
"What are your names?"
"Daniel, Diego and Daniella." The boy who spoke earlier interjected.
I stared at him with mixed expression, he acts so much like Aiden and this clearly means only one thing.
"Sir, they are making moves in killing your kids." My minion muttered breathlessly over the mic.
For some moment, I got confused trying to understand what he meant.
" Holy s**t!" It dawned on me that Vixen and his men had been trailing me, my research says they plotted the accident that brought me to the hospital in the first place. And now, they're mistaking someone else's child to be mine.
What to do?
"What's goin on?" One of the triplets asked and I'm sure that would be Diego.
"Mom!" They started crying, the tension could be seen. The hospital is under attack and if I don't take care of this now even innocent one's could get hurt.
"Hey, hey, stop crying okay? There are bad men here who want to hurt you guys and I need to take you to safety." I coaxed but the boy Daniel wasn't buying it.
It seems he's the elder one and the smartest.
"Mom said don't go out with strangers! Besides, how sure are we that you didn't set up with the bad guys to take us away from mom?" Daniel shot me a glare as he spoke.
Someone please remind me this is just a child talking.
I fought the urge to ask him how old he is. How can a child be this smart? No doubts he's the reincarnation of Aiden but he looks more like me while Diego looks like Aiden. But this Daniel, everything about him screams Aiden.
Convincing this little boy might be mission impossible but either way, I'd abduct them, clarity needs to be made on their true identities.
"I want mummy..." I looked at Daniella and noticed that she had started bleeding again as the white bandage was stained red.
Where do I get the nurses? If I leave these kids here, I don't know what might happen next.
The two boys coaxed their sister who was crying seriously.
"Don't come close to us." The moment I started walking towards them, Daniel yelled standing on guard.
He wouldn't be hard to deal with but what if he's not just a small child? I needed so many reasons to convince myself that this Daniel of a boy is just a kid but it seems like I'm only trying to convince myself.
"Listen kids, those bad men what's to harm you because they think you're my kids. " I stated praying that should be enough to convince them.
" Why would they want to harm us in place of you? Doesn't that mean you're a bad guy too and they want to take their revenge on you by harming us? " Where is this coming from? Daniella looked at me with puppy eyes expecting an answer to her hard core question.
A growl distracted everyone of us and the kids gave out a shrill cry.
"Son of a b***h!" I cussed.
Vixen had ordered his men to change into their wolf form. He's so hell bent on making humans know about the werewolf clan so they can be eliminated.
I ran across the kids and kept them in a safe place—Not so safe though.
I possibly can't change in front of these kids unless I plan on burying them all at once.
Grabbing a drip—stand, I flogged it on the wolf.
"What's that?" Daniella asked in horror.
"It's a wild dog!" I can't take the risk of allowing the children to guess what it is by themselves because they might get to know what it is due to how smart they are.
"That's not a dog." Daniel responded with a poker expression.
The rogue wolf and I stopped in an instant— I guess it's as confused as I am.
Remembering that I have to kill this rouge and can't worry much about what Daniel just said, I flogged the drip—standing on the rouge as it tried to claw me.
When everything finally calmed, I decided to take these kids to Aiden. An explanation is highly needed.
Convincing them after saving them wasn't a big deal at all.
I paid up their bills, with that I took them out of the hospital hurriedly, praying their mom isn't close by.
