I didn’t worry about clothes, like last time. I just wanted to get away from everyone. Ruby sobbed as I ran, but helped me mask my scent so no one could follow. It helped me be able to circle back to the house to grab my wallet. It was pretty easy considering Hector had everyone out hunting for me. Despite Ruby’s grief, she agreed with me that we needed to get away. She agreed that we needed space, and time to ourselves. We had been through so much in such a short amount of time.
