I had Tanner lead the others to a room while I went up to check on Jasper. I heard their laughter from down the hall, and I couldn’t help the smile that spread across my face. Jasper’s laugh could always brighten my mood, no matter the day I had, had. He was and always will be my sunshine in the darkness.
