Chapter 3

It took her couple of months before she officially had the courage to go to school. Once she started everything seemed normal the only odd thing and out of place thing seemed be her. Classed went well. Sitting in the caféteria Lily came up to her.

"Hey I haven't seen you in... Literally months where have you been"

Taking a deep breath to compose herseld.

"Just wasn't feeling it after..." she let out a shaky breath and showed a small forced smile "Nevermind I'm sorry I shouldn't have ghosted you I should have atleast sent a text or something" she said and held out her hand to Lily. "It's okay... As long as you're okay and you're here now nothing else matters I'm glad you're... Okay?" Lily said her tone more filled with question than anything as she gripped Nami's hand. "Are you... Okay?" she finally manage to blurt out... "Unless you don't wanna talk about it you don't have to I don't want you to do something you're nor comfortable with I want you to be comfortable with me not uncomfortable I want you to know that I'm here for you and care for you and..." Before Lily could finish Nami interrupted" Lily I promise I'm okay... I came back to school okay... I wanted to be here" a small smile crept on her face. Lily smiled and sighed "Good but if you feel like you need a break... Take it okay!" she said optimistically and Nami felt...Relieved?Happy?for the first time in awhile. But it all changed when Jake and his buddies walked in. Nami's smile dropped from her face faster than rain from a cloud. Jake saw her and he smirked... This was going to be fun for him.

Nami swallowed whatever lump she had in her throat hard like her life depended on it if she didn't. Lily saw this and clicked her fingers infront of Nami's eyes.

"Earth to Nami..." she said jokingly and looked at her "You okay? You seem like you've seen a ghost"

Nami just smiled fakely and shook her head "I'm fine just thought of something"

Lily nodded and went back to eating her food. Nami played around with the food on her plate as she looked at Jake.

Soon after Lunch break was over Nami headed to her locker once she closed it someone trapped her against the locker with his body once she saw it was Jake she immediately freezes and her whole body tensed up.

"Bold move coming back here sweetheart" he said against her lips "But I like it.." he traced his hand all over her hips and then dug his nails into her thigh. "Have you told Lily about our little session the other day?" "No" she replied her breath shaky her hands curling into fists nails digging into her palms. "Good cause I don't wanna teach you a lesson my little religious freak" He kissed her cheek and then walked away as if nothing happened. Nami's body slid down the locker as she held her hands to her chest shaking tears flowing down her cheeks "Breath Nami breath" she whispered to herseld. "God if you really cared for me you'd have made today a special and amazing day... You're just pathetic and pretend to care for those whom you call your" kids"huh? Pathetic" she said and ran her shaky hands through her hair.
