Chapter Four She would never understand Sloan thought to himself as he pressed his elbows into the bar and lifted his pint to his lips. Here he was clock watching at a bar on the same street as the woman who had plagued his thoughts all day. But he wasn’t moving, he was here, alone, watching the clock, counting the minutes until the show started.
