I Dare You

Chapter 14

Today is the day of the runway. We're all nervous but excited. It's a big event so I'm not going to mess it up especially when I'm opening the runway.

We took a lot of pictures backstage and we shot a lot of cool videos too. We're having so much fun and can't wait to enjoy our rest after this show.

The music started and the crew told me to get ready. After a few seconds, they gave me the cue to go. I pushed my long light brown hair to the back and walked out to the runway.

I walked confidently and stopped to pose before turn around to walk back. I saw my brothers on the left side and smiled to them before entering the backstage to change.

I quickly changed into the next outside. It's a different theme and I have to pulled my hair into a bun. I sat down on the make up chair and they the team started to their job.

I checked myself in the mirror one last time and they gave me the cue to go into line. The second theme is ready and I'm lining up to go back to the runway.

I walked out for the second time and I caught my parents as I posed for the second time. I blew a kiss to the camera and turned around. I walked back with more confidence than before.

"Katherina! Katherina! Here!" I was called when I got into the backstage. They led me to the fitting room to change for the last show. They changed my hair again and make up.

I have my hair down again and I love the last make up because it made me look like a bad girl. After I'm done, I still have 5 minutes so spare and used it to take pictures of myself and with some of my friends.

The team announced that the last show will start in 1 minute. I quickly queued and took a really deep breath. The staff gave us the cue and they all walked out one by one.

Until it's my turn, I walked out and did my third runway for the day. I was proud of myself for not messing up and for doing it so good.

I can't help but to squealed once I got into backstage. I hugged Cherice, Elle and Sienna. We all did a great job and we took a lot of photos until our families and friends are allowed to join us.

"Hey sis. Good job!" Victor hugged me and I chuckled.

"Thank you, brother."

"You look awesome!" Vincent said as he pulled me away from his twin. He hugged me too.

"Darling, you looked amazing!" Mom squealed and I hugged her.

"Thank you, mom!"

"Looking like a badass, pumpkin!"

"Thanks dad!"

"I like this one the best!" Rissa said and I hugged her.

"Thank you for coming, it really means a lot to me."

"Forget about me?" I turned to see Dean. He opened his arms and I jumped to him. He spun me around and chuckled.

"You rock the stage with that opening." He said as he caressed my hair. We had a group hug and took a couple of pictures with my phone.

"Katherina Locks." I turned to see Jake really came. He was clapping his hands and he greeted my family.

"Thank you for coming even though you didn't come for me." I said and he laughed.

"You're weird."

"Come on, tell me if you come to me first instead of looking for Cherice." I said and he looked away.

"See!"

"See you later, I have a date." He whispered and with that he left. Still thankful for him though. After that show, I spent my time with my family. We had dinner together and it's been quite long since we had a vacation. We can count this as one right?

"Should we go to San Fransisco instead of staying here?" Dean asked.

"That's a great idea."

"So we're going there tomorrow?" Rissa asked.

"Yeah."

"Yes to fish and chips." I said and Vincent turned to me.

"I made it better than grandma." He said confidently and I shook my head.

"She always cooks better, better than you." I said and he glared at me.

"Don't even think to ask me to make you something again." He hissed.

"Nah.. you'll make it for me anyway."

"We'll take the jet tomorrow afternoor to San Fransisco, don't forget to pack your bags kids." Dad said as he's busy with his phone.

"Okay!"

Cole Harrison: I miss you.

Cassie Edwards: *smiley emoji*

Cole Harrison: When will you come home?

Cassie Edwards: Don't know.

Cole Harrison: Come home now, I miss you.

He doesn't afraid to say it. He always said it to me at least three times a day. He kept telling me to come home. I've gone for two weeks and he told me I owed him a lot of my time. He called once in a while to hear my voice but it usually only last for a couple of minutes.

"Grandpa!" I ran into their house.

"Grandma!" I saw them in the living room currently watching TV while eating fruits.

"What a surprise?!" My grandma stood up and opened her arms.

"Oh! Full squad today?" Grandpa asked as he stood up too. I hugged him tightly and he kissed the top of my head. My grandparents were so happy to see his grandkids. They started to spoil every one of us.

We love them a lot and spending time with them will never be bored.
