The accident

Austin POV

My heart sinks as I see Lena driving off the road. Her car flies for 2 seconds before it hits the grassy ground. Gravity taking her car downhill. Without a second to loose I run with all my power after her car. The car is gaining speed but my whole body picks up speed as Gilroy screams *Fast! Faster! Faster!*. Seeing the car moving towards the only big tree standing on this hill, fear flushes over me. Every inch of me doesn't want her to get even the slightest scratch or wound. Just then her car slows down. As if she is pressing the breaks. Even though her car is still sliding downwards it gives me enough time to take the tow hitch in my mouth. With all my four paws I try to find enough grip on the ground, sliding a bit to the front until the car comes to a total stop. 

Gale finally shows up besides me in his grey wolf form. What is he waiting for? Having my teeth still around the tow hitch to stop the car from further sliding down the wet grass hill, I growl at him.

 *What the **** are you waiting for? Push the front of the car so that the car stands sideways!* I snarl to Gale through our mind link. 

I can feel the car is wanting to move further down. She must have released the brakes. Gale quickly runs to the front and starts pushing the side of the car. Gale can be so slow sometimes. My anger, worry and frustration is burning through me. I can feel the car coming to a stop. Releasing the hitch slowly, making sure the car won't move suddenly. I walk around the car, giving Gale a glare. He whimpers and lowers his head in apology. Shifting back to my human form I open the drivers seat to see Lena with her head against the steering wheel. 

I quickly link to Gale and Conan  

* go get Conan's medical kit from the village* 

*Conan, Lena is hurt. Please come, I beg you!*

Not being able to do anything more than wait, my whole body becomes over taken with sadness. Feeling a tear drop from my eye, I softly grab her forehead to let her body rest against her seat. I should get her out of this car in case it slips downwards. 

Leaning over her I reach for her seatbelt to release her body. Putting an arm under her knees and my other arm behind her back I slowly lift her up out of the car, head first. Not knowing what to do now I just sit cross legged in the moist grass. Slowly directing with my hand her head towards my shoulder without removing my arm around her waist. With her ass in-between my legs she somehow covers me up.

A white greyish wolf jumps out of the forest line at the end of the hill. Cradling Lena, tears start to fall. Never have I felt so overfilled with sadness, feeling ashamed that any of my pack members sees me like this. I am still glad its Conan and not someone else. With a couple of big jumps he was next to us, transforming back to his human form he quickly put on his pants that he had tied around his leg. 

"Austin!" His words woke me up from some sort of trance. His light blue eyes piercing at me. 

"Get a grip on yourself! She is fine. Listen! You can hear her heart beat. Doesn't that sound normal to you?" 

As if I awaken i could feel the sadness come to a halt. Slipping back into control of my senses, I focus on her heartbeat. I can hear her human and steady heartbeat. Not too fast and not too slow. But I still have lost my strength to speak.

"She must have passed out because of the shock." Conan further examines her head wound. 

"She might not even need stitching." I could see his eyes checking her body for any other wounds. 

Today I feel less bothered by it. Conan is a great doctor and friend. He was always there for me like a big brother. My body starts trembling again from the thankful emotions and relief.  

"Dude, I don't know what happened. But it might be better to go get your car and some clothes. I will stay here with her." 

In shock I look up to Conan. Does he really think I am gonna leave her here? 

"Austin, if she wakes up. How are you gonna explain that you are here without a car and on top of that NAKED. Go get your car. So you can drive her to my place and lay her on bed. She will need some rest and IF she wakes up before that you can always say that you found her while passing by with your car. If she wakes up before you are back I will let you know. Also she knows I am on foot and at least I am dressed. It will make much more sense than your naked butt." a little smile appears on his face, as he moves his head. Observing my naked body.

"I already figured out that she is our... Your Luna. Also I like her. She is a good woman. Lay her softly down and move that naked butt of yours." After staring at Conan for 1 minute, I can still find no words. But I do know he is more than right. 

Gilroy is starting to become unrestful. How faster we run. How faster we can be back next to her. Supporting her head I put her softly down on the grass. With a nod to Conan, I take off. A couple of big steps later and Gilroy comes out. Jumping to the front my arms and feet turn into black furry paws. Accelerating my speed I reach the forest line where minutes ago Conan jumped out of. I will be right back I whisper in my head while I run towards Gale's bar for my car. Just when I hear Gale in my head. 

*I found the med kit. How is she?* Listening to what Conan said, we probably won't need it. 

*Gale, never mind the kit. I will grab some bandages from the bar. Can you instead get the car to a garage to get fixed? Or call a tow truck or something? Also sorry for snapping at you before...*  

I am almost at the bar, my car is in sight. But I have to be careful not to be seen. Thus making my way to the back door of the bar which leads to the kitchen. 

*Yes Alpha. Thankfully the girl is fine. The bandages are in the kitchen in a box right next to the kitchen door.* Great. I just needed that information. However he just called her a girl? Apparently only Conan noticed that Lena is my mate. Which might be good. I like Gale but you never know what juicy story he might tell to anyone visiting his bar. It will be better if whoever hears it from me. 

Shifting to my human form I open the kitchen door. Searching for something to wear, the only thing I can spot quickly is an apron... with the apron around me I grab some bandages and make my way to door leading to the bar area. I always have some spare clothes in the back seat of my car. Although the moment I walk through the bar door. Two other set of eyes fall on me. Nothing can bother me now as I want to be as quickly as possible and see Lena. However I am happy the apron is at least covering certain parts. I should have gotten back out through the backdoor...While the girl snickers the older guy she is with raises his eyebrows while looking at me. Passing by them I can feel their stares on my naked buttocks while I make my way to the exit. With my great enhanced hearing however I can still hear what he says in a hoarse voice as if he had a bit too many cigarettes in his life.

"What kind of nudist community did we end up at?"
