Chapter Twenty-one Rosetta stepped off the treadmill, ran a towel over her forehead and flipped off her iPod earphones. ‘Got to remain positive,’ she told herself. ‘The positive thing about Matthew turning his back on me is I’ve lost four kilos.’ Running on the spot had been good for counteracting those ongoing bouts of anxiety. The treadmill, probably now in danger of breaking down from overuse, had at least ensured she didn’t fall apart completely.
