The news from south

As the news from the south has come, Sebastian Shaw has been called to the palace to discuss about this thing. When the news come, everyone stop their work worrying that the worst could happen. Their guest was right. The barbarian has invade the south causing loss of life and place to lived. The barbarian has alwyas wanted to conquered the south vlaimjng that it was tjeir ancestor land and only them have the right to lived there. Some people that manage to escape has come to the nearby city to seek refugee bust some are unfortunate have been caught to become a slave for them. If they didn't follow their order, the people will be murdered and their head will be hanged at the wall of the south as a reminder for others.

Back at the palace, knowing the urgent situation at the south, the wedding had to be hold. They focus on how to deal with the barbarian asa fast as they can so that the people will stay safe from harm. While the discussion is happening, a letter from the barbarian arrived that stated they will not surrender as they have right on the southern land and will ruled by their rule. The content of the letter make them angrier and decided to fight back for the land. After a long discussion they decided to send the General of Arndale, Sebastian Shaw as the frontline fighter along with a trusted collegue that had fight together with him. His son Gerald Shaw also participate in tuis convoy as well as the crown prince.

At first they didn't agree for the involvement of William as he will to be wedded to Chatherine. But he refused to stay in the palace while the people of south suffering snd he knows that Chatherine will understand his decision. His bravery got praised by many and was glad that such a prince will become their king in the future. They decided to start their journey to the south that night so as not to dealy the rescue time if their people.

Hearing the news, Chatherine rush to the palace to see her father, brother and her fiancee, William. She rushed to the gathering palce where she saw her father aand immediately hugged him. Tears falling down for her brown eyes. Soft sobbing can be heard from her. Sebastian Shaw then hugged her daughter tightly while his brother Gerald Shaw placed his hand of his sister head. They know that Chatherine has always worried about their safety while they were on battlefield. But it the responsibilities that they had to carried to show loyalty to tke kingdom and its people. Slowly Chatherine let go of his father and ask them to take care and be careful. Sebastian Shaw then signalling Chatherine to go and see William as he also will join this journey. Chatherine walked slowly toward William. Chatherine looked at William with concerned look and he wiped her tears that has fall down.

The sound of the trumpet echoing through the town signalling that they will take of soon. As William is abou to leave, Chatherine hold his hand.

"Promise me you will be back." with a pity voice. William pull Chetherine in his arm and kiss her forehead.

"I promise you" William said assuring Chatherine.

The convoy has left and only prayer and hope are with them now hoping for their safe return and winning the battle against the barbarian.
