Running from the past

The Ruins

Desolate Mountain Ranges, Surrounded by forest and river stream, you can see the glimpse of the building-like structures, which tells the tales of the prosperous civilization which could be seen once upon a time.

Whooosh!!!

Suddenly a man appears out of nowhere in between the ruins.

You can see the reminiscence of the past in his eyes.

"Hey!!!, where are you running, come back" A girl shouted a boy angrily?

"Wait for me Angela, will be right back" that boy shouted back to that girl, he forgot to buy some groceries his mom told him to buy.

"Angela, Will you marry me," a man asked the woman when they were strolling the nearby river.

"Angela, Run from here, go to my aunt house you will be safe there, I will hold these guys off, don't worry about me, I can't die"

A man covered in blood walking down the road can see a road full of corpses, He sees a woman's body covered in blood lying on the road, he can see the blade scars all over the body. His mind went blank, what has happened, he thought she would be safe, he thought of the days he will get married, he thought of the future he will have with this woman.

Gone, everything gone!!, he regrets why didn't he go back with her, at least she could be safe. He would have protected her. Now everything is gone, all he can do is regret.

Revenge!!! Where would he go for revenge, heh he doesn't even know who killed her?

What is the use of power if I cant even use it to protect my people? This was the first regret he has in his life, which will haunt him for a lifetime.

Coming back to reality, Grey has a self-deprecating laugh, so what if have power now/

"Leave it, at least she would have been reborn to a different world, would be living a life free of worries"  Grey thought.

He walks to the river stream where he first proposed Angela, there you can see a stone, there is some engraving on it.

"Angela, hope you are happy, you know what, people starting fighting again, I don't know when it will stop"
