The war has begun and the numbers of enemy coming through the forest was staggering. Our pack held its own, but when the first wave was taken out by Makana, we had all about one minute before the second, fully energized hoard came barreling out of the tree line.
The second Maika and I heard the words, ‘get the girl.’ Mana and I snarled in rage. Every wolf snarling at the wide spread mind link I sent out to protect their Luna. Maika and I got her in less then ten seconds and started making our way back towards the pack house.
