In the next hour my new door had been put up. I requested a yellow door, I just love the welcoming feeling of yellow. It’s a notice to visitors stating, “Your smile begins here.”
Dom and Maika had gone back to the pack house to finish up with pack matters. As promised, they returned early enough to help me set the table for dinner. Tonight i was making my version of a local favorite, Portuguese bean soup & poi.
The guys finished setting the table so we dug in. In between bites, we made small talk. No major topic was talked about, just laughed and talked like best friends do. I enjoyed the moment for I never had this.
