I was happier today, even Jade noticed. I guess all I needed was to hear Blossom’s voice and know that she was okay. I picked the phone to call Neil but put it down, I could use a walk I have been seated here all morning. I walked into Neil’s office to find him packing a few things, “you going somewhere?” I asked my eyebrows creased, he jumped.
He chuckled nervously, “Oh Kane, yes, I am. I saw that I have vacation days piling up and I thought Hazel and I could use a few months of vacation.” He said.
I walked to the door and locked it, “do you remember back in college when we went to that keg party and we told each of our parents that we’re spending the night at each of our places?” I asked as I remembered that night.
Neil chuckled, “yes, we got wasted and we got arrested.”
