“My love, Marco has gotten Ariana in a bind because he fears for her protection and can’t let her be anywhere without his knowledge, he’s decided it’s best if he keeps her somewhere she can always be monitored—the warriors’ barracks.”
“Cruel, yet efficient,” I heard him say.
“I know. The bastard is becoming a problem now,” I muttered bitterly. “I even had to kiss him, but yet he didn’t give in. He only wanted my efforts.”
I heard my lover growl from the other end of the line. “I don’t like that. Your kisses and touches are meant for me, and me alone.”
