Ariana’s POV
I shook violently like a bucket of water hit with a stick.
After feeling the warm blood smeared across my face.
I wiped the one closest to my eye with my trembling hand, its red dark drops splattered across the dirt beside me.
My vision cleared just enough for me to see the chaos in front of me unfold—the wolf that had lunged at me earlier was now being torn apart by two new wolves which seem to have appeared out of the blues beside the tree to my left.
The remaining rogues around me reacted instantly, mobilizing to fight their ambushers as they charged with growls that made me shiver.
But my blood ran cold when one of the wolves didn't move, unlike the rest that reacted for a counter attack, this one kept its eyes on me and started to move closer.
