Ariana's POV
"You cannot be serious." I exclaimed as soon as my mother finished speaking.
Do not ask what she said because even I was ashamed to repeat it.
"You cannot be seriously trying to throw me under the bus, mom?" I protested.
"You're doing your mommy a favor. I'm not sure what you see this as but it doesn't even mean anything. Do you know that?"
She was the least convincing person when it came to stunts like this and in a bid not to discourage her, I held ny peace.
"That is the only way that I believe it can be able to find who hates you so much to see you go. Except you're not really concerned about yourself." My mom pressed.
"I'll try."
Staying away from her like she had promised was not going to help matters but I wasn't going to complicate issues.
