“I already told you and Marco everything, so I don’t know what you’re going on about,” I said, my tone sharp and defensive.
“I believe you told us most of what happened, Ariana,” Ruben replied calmly, “but not all of it.”
“Stop talking gibberish, Ruben. I already told you what Mother said to me—and everything I went through.
