Chapter 15 Hunter awakened the next morning feeling as if a weight had been lifted. He had barely slept, yet his determination for today made him feel refreshed and energized. Hunter got up, showered, and went down the back stairs into his kitchen. He would need to fortify himself before what he knew could be—at best—an uncomfortable scene with Michael Burt. Hunter began pulling out what he would need for breakfast: eggs, whole wheat bread, and orange marmalade. He heated a skillet, whisked a couple of eggs in a bowl, and poured them into the pan.
