Chapter 54: A Strange River
To the great surprise of the Priest Vaachaspati, he and Hakim Ajmal Sahib were shifted to a new cell which was far better than their previous cell. The new cell had a separate compartment for washing and toiletries. And they were clean and well maintained too. Further, he was treated with utter respect and the guards took care of all his needs. They informed him that his wife is also being safe guarded and is provided with all the utilities that she needs to run her home. Vaachaspati tried to question the guards to reveal the reason for his imprisonment. However, the guards politely said they cannot reveal it for his own safety.
