Ellie:
Barely making it on time, I greet the minister before searching the area for an empty pew, seeing as everyone and their brother sit with their family. Gosh, you would think they have assigned seating. Eventually I spot a suspiciously untouched pew and kneel before sitting as a sign of respect.
While waiting for the service to begin, I try to play oblivious to the stares of wonder and astonishment directed at me. I mutter to myself, "Oh lord forgive me, I fear I may have sinned."
"May I be the first to absolve you of your questionable sin?" a familiar, husky voice that makes me oddly wet with need beckons.
"What?" I question, jerking my head in the direction of the voice.
Looking at the tall, muscular, pale-skinned, blue-green eyed man, more like god, in front of me, it's clear to assume the probable, Mr.James. That is why I got all of those weird looks... Duh! Too embarrassed and chocked by my own revelation I freeze.
Clearing his throat he responds, "I was just asking, may we sit with you?" It is then I notice his little man god posse.
"I am so sorry Mr. James, didn't realize this pew was yours. Of coarse, would you like me to move? I sure can, I never meant to impos..." I ramble like an i***t until he cuts me off.
"Non-sense, and no need to worry, love. we can all fit on this very pew." He interrupts as he takes his seat right next to me. The other two are standing there in shock, before receiving my confused glance and James's authoritative glare to which they sat next to James.
He introduces, "Eleanor Kelly, this is Max and Bash, the second and third command in my... company."
I try my best at a smile a warm greeting as they give nods to me in greeting, but Mr. James is on my mind.
Just as mass is about to begin, a bit later than usual, James whispers in my ear, very, very sexily, "I thought I told you to call me Arthur, my love."
That's it, I am a goner.
