"I should warn you that she's nosy sometimes. So, if she'll ask you some, just nod or just cut off to stop or either change the conversation." Amber stated. "I'll take note of that." I narrowed my view to those who are passing us in a different way. Mrs. Madison always wanted to keep the atmosphere okay between us as she tried to start the talk along the way, but all I could respond is just a simple nod. "Do you want some of your red velvet cookies?" She tried to offer me a box of it, but my sweet tooth is not biting it. "I'll take one when we get home." I simply replied. The voluble driver had taken us straight to a green house with a mango tree on its right side. The whole trip was merriment as he cheerfully shared his younger years and experiences of being a driver. The man was delighted when he was able to fetch and bring us here. Mrs. Madison had given him a tip and he was glad about it, thanking us many times even before he drove off the street. The black, well-closed gate was set high, enough not to see the garage. The corroded, spiky fences were over, besides the untouched bushes. I positioned in front of the house. Amber was keeping her distance from her and just paused still on my left side. She stared at the place and gradually scraped her ear. A grin was unexpectedly set on my face when I saw how fretful she was, that in any second she would vanish and never be found. She was looking around, not until the gate unlocked and a good, fluffy cheeked, thick body, curly healthy hair and round-eyed boy appeared. He immediately paced towards Mrs. Aliana and wrapped his arms around her. His eyes were dazzling in bliss. The woman smiled and hugged the child back. Mrs. Madison slowly reached at me and let me see the child clearly. He was also gazing at me and in a split second, he ran towards me, giving me a tight hug which made me shudder. I didn’t know what to do and I don’t want to act rude to him, so I just let him do his aspect until he decided to unleash his embrace. He smiled sweetly, letting me see his teeth and said, “Hello, Sis! I finally meet you!” I slowly glimpsed at Amber who’s obviously not in a good mood right now. Her eyebrow curved. “So, that’s him, huh.” She simply stated. I looked again to him – not taking off his wide smile. I let out an obdurate laugh and gradually patted him on his head. “Hello there. It’s nice to meet you…” “Galvin Cole Broaden.” He delightedly confessed. “Nice to meet you, Galvin.” The boy grinned once again and went beside her mother. Mrs. Aliana tucked his shirt well and put his collar in good form. She brushed his hair through her fingers. She eventually grazed on me with glistening eyes. “Let’s go inside.” She persuaded. I simply agreed and silently obeyed her inside the house. The windows were well-glassed and the walls were bricked and colored red. Her potted plants were on the side and a shoe rack was beside the door. An old, grubby Christmas decoration was freely hung on the ceiling wall just beside the light. It was a star shaped one. The boy slowly twitched the knob and helped his mother in bringing her things inside. We took off our shoes and once we were in the living room, the alluring smell of freshly brewed coffee and cinnamon had welcomed us. Amber scanned the place. She moved to the other room, tracing her fingers on the couch, then to the wooden, glassed table. A flower vase was filled with fresh, full-bloomed daisies. Rigid bookshelves were at the rightmost corner of the room and I could see clearly the dust that was covering them into grey. The television was turned on. The stairs were white as well as the kitchen. Mrs. Aliana was fonded of collecting abstract paintings that in every corner of her house, you could see a picture frame being hung on the wall. Amber went to the kitchen and moved around the circular table. The kitchen sink was currently filled with bottles and plates that were already used. The table napkins were even scattered on the furniture as well as a yellow towel. the chairs were moved and the fridge was filled with paper bills. I took a gulp and scratched my nape. Their house was totally different from ours. Mother would definitely scold them if she could see the current state of the place - a disaster. If I could just suggest then they should at least find someone to take care of the home as they're busy with their jobs and well some things other than that. Mrs. Aliana might need a maid to take support in keeping it clean. She's quite a busy person surely. Amber just stepped herself away from the kitchen and cringed at me. I slowly provided her a vague smile and a thumbs up, without letting them notice. Galvin abruptly clasped his hand to mine and narrowed his gaze. "Let's go upstairs, Sis. I just cleaned your room." I observed Amber roll her eyes at the child, which I felt bad in silence. I held him on his back and answered, "Sure, after I helped your Mom...I mean Mom...with her stuff and for lunch." I put the lasagna that Shin gave me on the table. Mrs. Aliana happily uttered, "No, it's okay. I can take care of the things here. Go with your brother upstairs and settle your things in your room. I'll call you both once our lunch is ready." "Are you sure?" She gentled my head and giggled. "Yes, Now, go with him. He's quite excited to spend time with his sister now." She winked at the boy in return for his soft chuckles. His face was flustered. "Okay. Let's go upstairs, Galvin." I told and carried my things there. Galvin started fast and waited for me in front of a pink door, holding still his truck toy. The fresh wind just embarked the house, coming from the opened wooden pane on the left side. It was beautiful. A mini brown settee was on the right, beside the blue door. There were three rooms and the last one was with the red colored. He dabbed his foot several times. "Hurry up! I want you to see your room." He slowly opened the space and the rose fragrance had devoured it, pulling me through the middle. Amber just appeared beside me and didn't bother to watch at her sibling. She was cold.
