Remilia's POV. I blinked twice just as soon as I opened my eyes, trying to adjust my eyes to the darkness that had already covered the whole arena. This was something that I would not be able to deal with if I were not careful enough, but most importantly, I was very concerned about my next move. My heart was pounding at a dangerous rate, threatening to burst out of my chest if I was not careful enough. Had Eryndor found me? Had he decided to lock me in here forever so that I would never have a chance at survival or escape? I swung my legs to the ground, calculating my next move, calm enough not to make a stupid move unless I was sure. A little chuckle startled me, causing me to jump. My hand jumped to my chest, slightly leaning closer, searching for an answer that would suffice. "I believe that you already have what it takes. How are you feeling now?" The voice of a stranger percolated the air, giving me every ounce of warmth that I could ever need. This was insanely strange because I never imagined coming across someone who would feel like home. It was something that I had never experienced and it was very strange for me to put all of that together. I cleared my throat to give myself some time to figure out who this person was. My hands flew to my head. "I feel a slight headache, pounding through as though my head is about to fall to the ground. I don't know if this is something you can work on." I whispered. My eyes were still finding it hard to adjust to the sheer darkness surrounding me. I was way in need of something completely different from what I was seeing. I had only a few things to do to help myself and I was very calm about it. "You should be worried that you are here alone with a stranger without help. Aren't you a little afraid that you might be on the edge of something dangerous and I might end up harming you?" He laughed dryly. I didn't need to see his face to realize that the man in question was a very powerful person. His aura was slapping me through the room. "You look very interesting. You were running away from someone. Who is it?" His gravely voice had me rethinking my lies. It would make no sense for me to lie to someone who had saved me but was giving me the benefit of the doubt to come clean to him. I wasn't sure of who I could trust, and from his Aura I knew he was one of those people who was going to bring a lot of trouble to me. A Savior through and through, but also a disaster. "I was running from my ex-husband. He tried to brutalize me." I had no choice but to confess. I could feel my wolf stirring up inside of me, making me wonder if there was something else attached, or if I was just hallucinating. It could probably stem from the concussion I had suffered earlier. "You don't strike me as a married woman. Your eyes do not have the glow that they should possess. Are you sure that you are not a rogue?" The stranger asked on. I couldn't explain the tingling feelings that his voice caused inside me, but I was sure that a swarm of butterflies was beginning to flap their wings, ready to fly to Mars if permitted. "This is definitely not what I was expecting you to say, but if you wouldn't mind, I would love to be on my way." I didn't forget the fact that I was still communicating with this stranger in the dark, so it wasn't good for my health one bit. I was supposed to know the person I was talking to and then be able to face them, but in this case, I was only just watching and hoping that I would be able to figure it out, "You don't step into my territory and give orders. I'm pretty sure you know that by now right?" He demanded from me. Nothing about him was calm and quiet. It was almost as though I was entitled to respond to whatever he was doing and I felt jitters run through my spine. "I was ambushed and that's why I'm trying to leave," I whispered quietly so that he wouldn't get angry at me, but I guess that was the opposite. Tremors run through my spine, causing me to look around for help yet finding none. My eyes were fixated on the darkness, as if that could shield me from the impending doom about to befall me. It was a huge task but nonetheless, looking as promising as ever. Only a few people would have the right to do whatever they wanted with the opportunity I had gotten, at the same time I was still very fragile, "I asked a simple question. Are you a rogue or not? Who freaking sent you into this place and how do you think you are going to survive it?!" He thundered. If he felt the connection that I did, he made sure that he didn't show it, heightening my anxiety. I was more than curious about his face, more than what he was saying. "You have every right to be curious, but I cannot reveal my identity to you without knowing who you are." I mustered up courage. I was probably playing with fire, but that wouldn't stop me from getting my points across. He was a man of valor, but I wasn't a woman who didn't have any social standing. I was a woman who had been betrayed for being smart so I wasn't letting myself down. "You dare come over here and give me orders?" He rumbled out, before flicking the switch on. I gasped when my eyes came in contact with the figure. Raul Feralwood! 8.
