The servants bathed me thoroughly that morning. They dressed me in expensive black clothes. I wasn't going to leave my room or serve the king. Why did they choose such beautiful clothes?
They also acted strangely, measuring my body and head. Then, I remembered Duncan's plan. Were the servants going to sew my wedding dress? I sighed. So, he was serious about marriage.
I was happy with the changes that had taken place. The servants brought me breakfast, afternoon snacks, lunch, and late afternoon snacks in large portions. They didn't do that when I was in my old room or office.
The queen's death was a huge loss, but that misfortune benefited me. The woman could no longer forbid her servants from feeding me. The king knew nothing about it, and I didn't blame him.
