Club Moon

Katrina The girls had arrived at the club and were already ushered in by a tall muscular built bouncer. Apparently Lucy knew him. Not surprising, this girl seemed to know everybody and had no problem going wherever she pleased. That's one of the things Katrina admired about Lucy, she kicked a** and took names. As the girls entered they were ushered to a private table in the back. Just as they sat down and took off their jackets a waitress came up. "What can I get you ladies tonight?" she asked politely. "Give me tequila on the rocks, I'm dying" Rayne said dramatically. "Make that a double!" Lucy chimed in giving her famous eye roll while twitching her nose. "Umm, i guess a stawberry daiquiri for me" I said shyly. "Just get me a few coronas with lime." Elizabeth said flatly. "Alrighty, I'll be back with your order." The waitress said as she sauntered away. The waitress was quick to bring our drinks. I never knew anyone could move that fast. But I wasn't gonna complain. I took a big sip, mmmm, now this is hitting the spot. "Alright girls lets dance!" Lucy hollered over the music. I grabbed my drink and followed her down the the dance floor. This place was packed, and when I say packed I mean I had to hold onto Lucy's hand to keep from getting lost in the crowd. Elizabeth and Rayne in tow right behind with them zigging and zagging like pros around the crowds of people. "Heres perfect girls" Lucy hollered again and she started moving to the beat. Something about this beat really got me moving. Or maybe it was the daiquiri, either way I was lost in the rhythm. I was swaying my hips to the sound until I felt a presence right behind me. "Hey sexy, I like those moves." A husky voice whisper yelled in my ear. Wait...I know that voice. I turned around to face none other than Lucas Rollins, my ex from high school. But what was he doing here. "What the hell Lucas!" I protested. What was he doing in Alexandria, i thought I got away from everyone I knew there. "Oh damn Kat, oops I mean Kitty. I didnt know that was you. F***, still sexy as ever." Lucas chuckled. Rolling my eyes in irritation I gave Lucas a shove, "Just go, I'm trying to enjoy myself." I protested. Then before I could move or do anything else the smell of mahogany and amber filled my nostrils making my body tingle. My brain started going crazy with need to find where the smell was coming from. Just then a broad shouldered man shoved past Lucas. His hazel eyes darkening with what looked like anger. I looked at him admiring his chiselled jaw line, dirty blonde hair slicked back to the side showing his shaved sides. Almost in a trance I started looking down noticing his black shirt that did nothing to hide the muscles that lead down his chest. Blinking almost forgetting where I'm at I snap my eyes up to look the man in his eyes again. He gave me a slight smile showing his dimple. Gosh Katrina why the f*** are you ogling this man who just walked up. I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. "AUSTIN! What the f***, why are you bothering Kitty?" Lucy yelled while storming up to us. Lucy pushed the mystery man back. "I'm sorry Kitty, this is my knucklehead of an older brother Austin. He was just leaving." Lucy said nonchalantly. "No, Im not." Austin said with clinched teeth while staring down Lucy. Wait....did his eyes just change color? Before I could say anything his eyes went from black back to the hazel eyes I first saw. Maybe its the lighting...well I also have been drinking. I shrugged it off and said "Its fine Luce, he actually just saved me from a super awkward situation with an ex." Lucy looked at me eyes wide, "WHAT? My sweet Kitty Kat was a heartbreaker....oooo point him out. I want to see the stud." Lucy exclaimed while she started giggling and looking about. Just then Austin grabbed my hand and lead me back to the table with Lucy follwing right behind. "Oh no you're not Austin! Shes my friend and you need to back off!" Lucy squeeked while wagging her finger. As much as I was surprised being lead by a man I just met something just felt comfortable about it. I shook my head and pulled my hand away from him as we neared the table. "Seriously Austin what is your problem? This club is full of girls and you bother my best friend." Lucy sneered while rolling her eyes. Austin looked at his sister, opened his mouth then shut it again. He scrunched up his face and stormed off just as quickly as he had arrived. "What was that about?" I said as i got comfortable in my seat. "Oh nothing, just sibling stuff." Lucy quickly said while waving down our waitress. "2 Malibu and pineapple, please" she said as soon as the waitress neared. "Seriously Luce, are you gonna tell me what that was about or what?" I questioned while shifting in my seat. "Dont let it bring down the vibe Kitty. Just forget about it and lets have fun." Lucy said while giving my a scandalous smile. I smiled back but I couldn't help but think of that scent. Mahogany and amber...was that what her brother smelled like? The image of him flashed in my mind with his slight smile that made his dimple pop out. Mmmm. I smiled to myself. Wait....why am I thinking so intensely about Lucy's brother. Omg I just met him and now Im acting like a bloody horn dog. What is wrong with me. Ive never acted like this before. I got called from my thoughts when Lucy started waving her hands in my face. "Okay! Earth to Kitty! Our drinks are here! What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Lucy hollerd. I shook my head. "Oh sorry Luce, just got distracted." I replied sheepishly. Lucy gave me a skeptical look. "This doesnt have anything to do with mr ex boyfriend showing up now does it?" Lucy pryed while lifting up her eyebrow with a knowing look. "Cause it looks like you got someone eyeing you over there." She said as she pointed across the room. Sure enough Lucas was staring at me grinning like an i***t. Tossling his red hair as he used his hand to push it back. One of his many self absorbing moves. I rolled my eyes and looked at Lucy. "That was one of the biggest mistakes of my life." I said while chugging down my drink like water. "Oh girl sounds like we need another then and to get back out on the dance floor." Lucy said while pointing at Elizabeth and Rayne dancing up a storm. We continued to drink and dance until we were sweating. I dont know what time it was but I could tell it was getting late. Just then Lucas showed up again grabbing my arm and dragging me to dance with him. "I know you miss my baby" he hissed. Just as he was leaning down to try and kiss me the smell of mahogany and amber filled my nostrils again, as I saw Lucas get thrown across the room. I looked up to see what happend and got shoved down hitting my head on the floor, my vision starts to get blurry. I hear screaming. Is that Lucy? Before I could concentrate on the chaos around me I blackout.
