I really didn't want to go out tonight,  but my beta Marcus kept pressing me. After a bit of back and forth I wound up at Club Moon. Most of the packs in the area frequented Club Moon as well as a few humans due to the college being so close. As we all started taking shots, the smell of honey and roses caught my attention. I feel the warmth take over my body, as I jump up to find the cause. I move towards the dance floor to see a red headed d***** hassling what appears to be the cause of my heighted senses. I swiftly shove him out of the way to get to her. She is perfection in the flesh, her perfect raven colored hair in a messy bun with strands framing her angelic face perfectly. Her silver eyes looking me up and down as I give her a slight smile. Hmmm she likes what she sees as well. "AUSTIN! What the f***? Why are you bothering Kitty?" Lucy sneered. Ahhh so her name is Kitty. Why does that make my insides tingle so much more. Mate! Mate! Lost in my thoughts as my sister shoves me back while continuing to yell. "Im sorry Kitty, this is my knucklehead brother Austin. He was just leaving." Lucy said plainly. Like h***. "No, I'm not." I said with authority to my mouthy sister. The girls started talking to each other while I started looking at my mate. Ugh the way her hips move in that skirt and the way her breast look in that top has my body heating up. Why isn't she reacting like I am? Wait, did they just say that guy was her ex? I quickly grab my mates hand to get her away from the dance floor and to the table I know my sister always sits at. Lucy of course was right on my tail mouthing off. Kitty pulled her hand away and just stared at me when we arrived at the table. D***it. Lucy still hollering like Im purposely trying to ruin her night. How do I tell her that her friend is my mate. I go to say something, but decide to talk to her later. It seems my mate is a human and not aware of what is going on. I walk away trying to figure out what to do next. D***it Lucy. When I arrive back at my table my beta Marcus chimes in, "Whats got your panties in wad?" He snickers. I roll my eyes, "F*** off Marcus!" I say back. "Oooo sounds like Alpha got shot down." Marcus teased. The guys at the table started laughing. "I'm getting real sick of your s**t Marcus." I warned. He didnt pay me any mind and went back to joking with the guys. My mind wandered back to my mate. The curve of her body, her juicy full lips when she smiled at me. I know she can feel it too. My eyes traveled back to where she was dancing on the dancefloor. Her hips swaying to the beat, her hair slipping from her bun as she started to sweat. I don't know how long I was staring at her when the same guy from earlier approached her again. Touching what was mine. Who the f***, wait....is that Alpha Lucas of the Blood Moon pack. I rush up and knock him across the room. Lucy started yelling as Lucas' pack members started to surround me knocking my mate to the floor just as quick as I shoved Lucas. Just as quick my beta and other pack members joined. "LUCY TAKE KITTY HOME NOW!" I demanded with my Alpha command. She quickly lifted my mate on her shoulder and made her way out of the club with Elizabeth and Rayne creating a path for her. "The f*** is your problem Austin?!?" Lucas roared. "You're my problem Lucas! Cant you tell she wants nothing to do with you?!?" I said back. The pack members helped clear the club out of anyone not in either the Blue Moon or Blood Moon pack. "What's me talking to an old flame have to do with your pretentious a**?" He sneered. My eyes turned black at his words. "When it comes to my mate I will do what I must!" I roared. Confusion graced Lucas's expression before he let out a light chuckle. "Oh your mate now is it? Do you think she'll want you after having me?" he sneered. I saw red, who the f**k does he think he is. I let out a territorial growl, while starting to slam punches into his chest. Before I knew it i was pounding him into the ground. He caught my fist and slammed a punch to my ribs. I couldn't feel anything as my rage kept building. Before i could land another punch our betas were pulling us away from each other. "We have to go Austin, we cant have a rivalry between the packs, forget him man." Marcus said as he was pulling me further away. "This isn't over!" Lucas shouted while his beta dragged him away. I rolled my eyes while walking out the back, kicking and tossing things as I tried to calm myself. "What were you talking about back there when you said mate?" Marcus questioned. "Do we finally have a Luna?" I sighed still not answering Marcus as we walked to my car. This is gonna be a long drive.
