I’ll endure anything for them

Diana’s POV Sir Sebastian handed me a sheet of paper and said, "This is the contract. Read every word, and if you have questions, feel free to ask." He sat back in his swivel chair, his eyes fixed on me. It felt as if his gaze was stripping me down. His eyes, so dark and deep, seemed to look right into my soul. My hands shook as I picked up the papers and began reading the three-page document. Every rule was laid out clearly. But when I reached the final page, my heart sank. It stated that if I ever became pregnant, I would have to give the child to him. I would have no rights over the baby. And if I broke any part of the agreement, I would have to repay every cent he had given for my brother’s surgery. I closed my eyes, feeling my heart break before I had even begun this arrangement. I wanted to cancel everything. Perhaps I could still find someone else, someone who would help without asking for so much in return. The conditions were too harsh. I gently placed the document on his desk. "I'm sorry, Sir. I cannot agree to all of these terms, especially the part that makes me lose my rights to the child if I get pregnant. I am not the kind of woman who can accept that," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. He looked at me and asked, "So you are turning down my offer?" "Yes," I replied, my heart aching. He nodded slowly. "If you change your mind, my offer remains open." He took back the contract. I gave a small nod and excused myself. "Thank you, Sir." As soon as I stepped out, I rushed to the bathroom. I locked the door and broke down in tears. I felt as if hope was slipping away from me. I prayed silently, "When will my problems end?" Later, I visited my brother at the hospital. He had been admitted again after another heart attack. The doctor warned that he needed surgery as soon as possible; any delay might be fatal. "Sis, we must be strong. God will not abandon Daniel," my younger sister Cassandra said as she hugged me tightly. I tried to be strong for them, but my heart felt heavy and confused. Afterwards, I found myself standing outside Sir Sebastian's office once more. My hands trembled as I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. "Come in," came his deep voice. I turned the doorknob, and the cool air hit me as I stepped in. My heart raced when I saw him standing by the large glass window, both hands in his pockets. He looked up and locked eyes on me. "Sir, may I speak with you?" I asked, my voice quiet but determined. He motioned for me to sit and asked, "What do you want to talk about?" I had already made my decision, even though it hurt. I was out of options. He was the only one who could help me now. "I accept everything in the contract," I said softly. In that moment, I knew my life had changed forever. I had chosen this path for my brother, even if it meant sacrificing my own heart along the way. Sir Sebastian leaned back in his swivel chair, saying nothing at first. He just looked at me as if he was thinking things through. His arms were crossed over his chest, his muscular arms pressing against the sleeves of his shirt. Two buttons near his collar were undone, exposing a glimpse of his chest. I swallowed hard, suddenly feeling dry in the mouth. “What changed your mind?” he asked. “I…I really need the money now, Sir,” I replied. “If I keep waiting or thinking of other ways, I might lose my brother. I’ll accept everything, even if it’s hard for me.” Tears began to form in my eyes, but I blinked them away. I could not break down now, not when I had already come this far. I already felt so low, like all hope was gone. And yet here was an opportunity, one that could save my brother, but at a painful cost. “Alright then,” he said. He pulled out the contract and placed it on the table in front of me. I stared at it for a moment. Then, he handed me a pen. Without hesitation, I signed it. Sir Sebastian smiled slightly. “Good.” A heavy feeling settled in my chest. I knew this would stay with me for the rest of my life. I had given away a child I had not even conceived yet. I stood up quickly. I could not hold back my tears any longer. ************ My brother’s operation was a success, and for the first time in a long while, I could breathe again. But I was not completely free, not yet. I still had to face what I had promised Sir Sebastian. Today was the beginning of my burden. I walked toward his office, knowing what this day meant. I took a deep breath before entering. He was seated in front of his laptop. He looked up as soon as he noticed me. “Make me a coffee,” he ordered. I went to the small pantry in his office and began preparing his coffee. My mind was spinning, thinking of everything that might happen. My fear only grew stronger. Once the coffee was ready, I placed it on his desk. “Sit there,” he instructed. I obeyed without a word. I had already agreed to this, so I had no choice but to face what was coming. As he sipped his coffee, he glanced at me from time to time. I clasped my hands together, my chest tight with nervousness. He stood up, walked to the door, and locked it. As he moved closer, he loosened his necktie and tossed it aside. Then he rolled up his sleeves, revealing his chest, lightly covered in hair, just as I had imagined it. Next, he unbuckled his belt and finally removed his slacks and boxers. My eyes widened when I saw Sir Sebastian fully exposed, long and thick. My grip tightened on the sofa’s armrest. "Strip, honey," he said in a rough voice. My knees trembled as I stood up and slowly took off my clothes until nothing was left. Sir Sebastian stared at me, his eyes filled with desire. He began touching every part of my body, starting with my chest. I closed my eyes, afraid I might lose control from what he was doing to me. I’ll get used to this, I told myself. My legs shook, and my hair stood on end as his hands reached my most private area. I felt his breath on my face before his lips pressed against mine. It was my first time kissing a man, so I just followed his lead. Suddenly, he pushed me face-down onto the sofa, gripping the back of my neck. Without warning, he entered me. I cried out from the pain; it was so intense I wanted to scream, but I bit my lip to stay quiet. My hands clenched the sofa cushion as tears streamed down my face. Sir Sebastian moved roughly behind me, taking what he wanted. The only thing keeping me strong was thinking of my siblings. I’ll endure anything for them.
