Chapter SixAfter I finally managed to tell Zoe everything, leaving out the fact that Tomas had seen us and my eyes had glowed like a cat’s when I got angry at Booth, she finally allowed me to climb into bed.
I wasn’t at all sure I would be able to sleep. Between everything I’d seen and worrying whether I’d dream again, I hated the thought of drifting off.
But eventually, I did manage to sleep, lulled off by the sound of Zoe hammering away on her mobile as though she was searching the internet for something.
