CHAPTER 2
MATILDA
“I thought you'd find a real job after your sudden disappearance, Matilda.” He smirked, a hint of disappointment flickering in his voice. His stunning blue eyes locked onto mine, filled with unmistakable hatred.
I shivered visibly and swallowed hard. The room suddenly felt ten times colder. “Never knew this is all you could do after running away from me huh”
My body trembled as my heart pounded in terror, a chill surging through my veins. “I don't know what you're talking about, sir,” I lied, barely managing to speak through my trembling lips.
His stare burned straight through me. How could he see through the veil? And why now, why here? I thought I had buried this part of my life for good. I thought I had run far enough, erased every trace of him. But I was wrong. So terribly wrong.
My ex-boyfriend stood right in front of me, his piercing gaze unrelenting, unblinking, unforgiving.
My legs froze, electricity rushing through my veins as I tracked every step he took.
“You’re still good at putting on a show, aren’t you?” he spoke, eyes narrowing. “But I know the real you, Matilda. I wonder how long you can pretend.”
“Do I know you?” I asked, my voice trembling.
He purred, lips curling into a dangerous, taunting smile. “Fine. Let's get back to business” his hand grazed his chin as he toyed with the golden ring at the corner of his lips and I couldn't deny the fact that he was looking dangerously handsome just like the angel I left 4 years ago.
“Your time isn’t over yet, Miss. So tell me…” His voice dropped, his eyes roaming around my skin curiously. “Why did you freeze the moment I said that name?” he asked hoarsely, pressing his upper teeth against his bottom lip, drawing blood. A single droplet slid down.
I didn’t answer. I couldn’t. My pulse thundered in my ears, and his amused eyes narrowed slightly.
“Does it matter? Sir, I need to leave,” I said sharply, turning to walk away. I couldn’t do this, not tonight, not with him. A part of me begged to run, just like I was told to do years ago from him. But, as expected, his stubbornness wouldn’t let me go so easily. His voice halted me.
“You do realize walking away is a breach of contract, don’t you? I’d hate to get lawyers involved.” His tone was calm, dangerously calm, as he spoke without even glancing at me, still focused on his phone.
Wait. Was that a threat?
Did he seriously plan to sue me just because I couldn't stick to the full schedule? I knew how risky it was to walk out of here. I knew he might terminate the contract but I couldn't stay. I couldn't stand here, staring into the eyes of the father of my child while wearing this. Shame clawed at my soul.
There was no point in pretending anymore. He recognized me. He knows I was the lady who left him when he needed me the most.
“You'd really go that far?” I tried to sound calm, polite but his words were making everything worse.
“I paid for a show. What I’m getting is a walkout?” He finally set his phone aside, eyes locking onto me with full attention.
“That’s not enough,” he said, sliding one hand into his pants pocket. “Red Puppy.” he added
I flinched at the name. He knew exactly what that nickname meant and he used it on purpose. Maybe this is also an act to get on my nerves.
I stood taller. “I never agreed to anything beyond a dance.”
He raised a brow. “You think I threw down half a million for a routine I already watched on stage?” His voice sharpened. “I expected something… more nicer than it ”
I furrowed my brows. “What do you want?” I asked, my patience thinning. This wasn't the man I remembered. Something about him was darker now.
“Some pleasure,” he said quietly but firmly. “Pleasuring is included, Miss.”
His voice was low, almost unheard, but it shattered me. My knees buckled, and icy dread washed over me.
Only now did I understand why he never allowed Sarah to take the VIP shows. Was this revenge? I know by now he must have hated me badly. I mean, who the heck won't despite the lady who cut the wedding agreement we both had and plan to do secretly but I hope he understands none of this was my fault. I was pushed to do so by his mom.
My eyes widened in shock, my mouth dropping open in action. “What?”
He didn’t answer directly. Instead, he leaned back on the couch, watching me like I was a puzzle he intended to solve.
“Why don’t we start with something simple?” he murmured. “I need a blowjob, Red Puppy.” He smirked cruelly, his voice dripping with malice as his gaze held mine.
“Let’s see what you’ve got, Matilda.”
Then, with venom of a snake, he added, “You must be an expert by now. I wonder how many men you’ve serviced with that mouth.” He pointed at my lips, his blue eyes glittering with spite, hatred and disgust.
I was too stunned to speak, my thoughts spinning out of control. Is this what Sarah does for all VIP clients? Maybe that’s why... But I couldn’t do it.
“Don’t make me repeat myself, Puppy. You know I hate that.” His voice darkened, rage flashing in his eyes.
“I... I won’t be able to do that,” I stammered, clutching the edges of my dress with shaking hands. My heart threatened to fall right out of my chest.
Silence swallowed the room. The only sound left was my heartbeat hammering in my ears. He leaned back again, his gaze still fixed on me.
“I won't force you, puppy, I knew the right time will come, you will beg to have my c**k in your mouth with tears streaming out of your eyes” he threatened slowly, his expression remains unreadable as I watched how those words flew out of his lips
“You will beg for mercy when I'm done with you” Heat covered my skin with those words and I felt my whole body shivering, including my lips. Something was certain, with those voice, words. He's here for a pay back.
“Let’s terminate the—”
“Fine. Don’t terminate it,” I cut him off, voice firm. “I’ll do it. I need the money.”
A satisfied smile curved his lips as he nodded slowly.
I should’ve let him end it. I should have. But I didn’t.
“Get to work,” he said as he unzipped his trousers.
My gaze dropped.
His hand wrapped around his massive c**k and my ey
es widened in disbelief..
My breath caught. He was bigger. Harder. Familiar. Dangerous.
