“Marked and Watched” Dual POV | Darkly sensual + looming pack drama ⸻ Lucien (POV) He kissed her like a man possessed. There was no ceremony in it. No sacred pacing. No waiting for the moon’s permission. Rhea’s surrender had been total—and Lucien’s response was feral. He lifted her effortlessly, pressing her back into the cold stone wall as her legs wrapped around his waist. His mouth devoured hers. His hands roamed with zero restraint. He didn’t undress her—he tore the shirt away. Claimed skin. Bit shoulder. No pain she didn’t crave. No pressure she didn’t welcome. When he finally thrust into her—deep, raw, real—she moaned his name like prayer. And all he could think was: “Mine. Mine. Mine.” Rhea (POV) It wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t soft. It was everything she never knew she needed. Lucien didn’t ask anymore—he took, but never without clarity. Every movement demanded more of her. Every grip said: You offered this. Now live in it. She’d never felt more alive. Her orgasm hit fast and hard, tearing through her like wildfire. He didn’t stop. He tightened his hold, snarled against her throat as he followed her over the edge. His teeth found her again—right over the previous mark—and this time, he bit to the bone. Blood. Bond. Power. And then the growl. But it wasn’t his. ⸻ Lucien (POV) The second the bond sealed and Rhea slumped into his arms, trembling and soaked in satisfaction, Lucien felt it: A presence. Uninvited. Watching. He spun, baring his teeth. At the edge of the room, just within the open door—Kael stood, arms crossed, expression unreadable. But not empty. There was heat in his eyes. Possession. Challenge. Not for her. For Lucien. “You left the door open,” Kael said coolly, “Alpha.” Lucien didn’t reply. He simply wrapped a blanket around Rhea’s limp body and met Kael’s stare, jaw tight. “You saw everything?” Kael gave a single nod. And then, with just enough tension to slice the room in half, he added: “The pack will want to know why you’ve bound her without a full council vote.” Lucien didn’t blink. “Let them come.”
