Alex's POV.
The moment I say those words everyone flinches. I begin to smell fear and I like it.
I feel Ruth taking control of me slowly and I breathe in and out. 'we can't lose it now' I say to her. 'I promise we will punish her, just wait a bit'
'but she's doing something to him! what if we get there too late?' she asks panicking.
'have I ever failed you?'
Silence fills my head and I finally gain control of my actions. "take the boy to the pack house." I order the guy who brought the shorts. "make sure he's not thrown into any prison or I will kill you and anyone with your blood running through their veins" I say calmly.
