the moment the door opens we all see Mathew and his wife Kendra with her child in her arms. my heart starts to beat faster as i look at Alex who is now standing up with a pissed off expression.
it scares me, not because Alex is scary or because she can use her marks power but because she wants to kill the man who is at the entrance.
i stare at Kendra as she looks at Alex and Blaise in disapproval.
Alex and Blaise walk slowly towards the side of the table so that they are now facing Mathew and Kendra.
"what are you doing here?" Alex says with daggers in her voice.
