MERILYN AND ALPHA KING TALKING ALONE

Alpha Maverick’s POV

I was at the entrance of Blue Moon Packs' main house. Dread my wolf has been acting weird since we reached the Blue Moon pack last night. But I came to know why he was acting weird as soon as I came out of my car when that beautiful chocolate rose smell hit my nostrils and I knew to whom that smell belonged but before I could say anything dread said “MATE, MY MATE”. At that moment I want to reach that person whom that smell belongs to. Alpha Denial and his Luna were at the entrance to welcome us but I ignored them and entered the house as soon as they said welcome.

I can see her as I move towards her everyone moves from my way as soon as they realize my presence and the aura I have. I don’t have to say people understand what I want. But she realized even when I was standing in front she was busy talking to herself or maybe to her wolf. Then she stopped and I could feel her nervousness.

“Sir, do you need anything forgive me I didn’t hear you,” she said.

“I didn’t say anything yet” with a little anger I replied as I realized that she was not recognizing me as her mate.

There was silence for a moment before she spoke again after gulping

“Oh, sorry can I help you with anything”

Wow she is still not recognizing me, okay then let me play as well.

“Yeah, you can,” I said in a playing tone and I think she realized that she was not interested in playing around with me. She replied instantly not interested in stretching the talk.

“What do you want ss sir” she stuttered and I realized that she was not nervous she was scared and I liked it. I always want everyone to be scared of me. But everyone in my pack said that my mate would never be scared of me and I hated the idea of someone not being scared of me but look at her she was almost shivering in front of me. To make her more scared I continued my teasing.

I brought my mouth near to her ear and whispered “You” and with that one word, she froze in her place. I haven’t seen her face yet as she hasn’t looked at me even once. So I was about to raise her face with my hand when someone came between us. But after I announced that the person he was standing in front of was my mate I thought that he would step aside but he didn’t. Instead, he is talking to my mate and they are using words and she is looking right at him.

That man is getting on my nerves I thought to myself. As soon as she realized that I was staring at her she again put her head down without even looking at me. I was still looking at her when Alpha Denial spoke.

“Forgive me sir, but she doesn’t seem to recognize you as her mate. So, I think”..... .. .. Before he could complete his sentence I grabbed his throat angrily. His men moved to help him but my men quickly stopped them and my beta said “If you don’t want to make the situation worse, stay where you are as you all know for what black river pack is famous” he warned them.

Merilyn’s POV

The moment he grabbed my alpha’s neck I wanted to fight him but I couldn’t find the courage in me. I know what should I do and that will stop everything. At that moment Luna Kally gets on her knees and begs him to leave her husband. Warriors from my pack are getting angry as their Alpha is held by the neck. A man who had warned everyone just a minute before turned around and said

“Alpha we shouldn’t be doing this”. But those words didn't affect him at all.

At that moment I kneeled in front of him which stopped everything he threw my Alpha aside. I don’t want anyone from my pack to get hurt because of me. My words broke the silence.

“For Forgive me sir for not o..obeying you, allow me to obey you,” I said stuttering. I can feel his anger settling down.

Maverick-(I liked the way she talks, her words are working like an anxiety pill for me. No one ever had that effect on me when I am this angry) “I want to speak to you, now”.

Merilyn-“yes s..sir”. there was silence for a few minutes before he roared again.

Maverick-“ALONE”.
