Alison POV: I felt weirdly comfortable. I don’t recall feeling this content when waking up. I shifted slightly only to realize I was in a strong embrace. I snapped my eyes open only to be met by bare chest. I felt my wolf purring at the warmth but my rational side made me bolt away.  I stared at Jackson who now looked like waking up before glancing at my surroundings. We were at a water cave of some sort with weird glowing crystals. My attention was caught by my really angry looking best friends she was sitting in a lotus position with her arms crossed over her chest.  “Do you know how hard it was not to wake you two up because you looked all snugly and cute!?” She half yelled. “I was getting all love sick just looking at you but I couldn’t wake you up even if we are inside a cliff and the Goddess knows how we’re supposed to get out of here!” Teresa huffed and slumped her posture furthermore. I murmured a Sorry before looking at Jackson who was now rubbing the sleep away from his eyes. I felt weird possessiveness over him as he was leaning slightly on his arm with only a sport shorts, I recognized as one of the shorts we had hidden around the forest if someone was forced to shift without having spare clothes with them.  I brushed my curly hair out of my face which I now realized felt really weird due to being dirty. “What’s that?” I tore my eyes away from Jackson back to Teresa who now had a confused look on her face. “What is what?” I asked as she started to walk towards me with a deep frown on her face. As she came closer she gasped putting her hands to cover her mouth while stopping abruptly. “Teresa what is it? You’re acting weird” I frowned at her odd behavior. “It’s exactly what you think it is. You’re not seeing things” I snapped my head towards Jackson who decided to speak up, his words only confusing me more. “Oh so you marked her on the forehead? Nice job” Despite Teresa’s teasing voice I slammed my hand on my forehead. I really wouldn’t mind him marking me but the forehead  wasn’t really a place to mark a wolf, looked at them both in confusion not really understanding what they were playing. “What? No! The mark of the Moon Goddess’ child” After Jackson’s statement there was a unsettling silence with the two of them just staring at each other. Teresa looked like she was processing a s**t load of facts while Jackson looked at Teresa daringly.  I couldn’t take the silence anymore so I spoke very softly afraid of someone jumping on me “The what now?”. Jackson’s eyes softened when he met my gaze and then he looked somewhat.. prideful? “My mate is the daughter to the Moon Goddess” His gaze was steady and soft while I felt  like the world was shifted underneath my feet. Daughter to the Moon Goddess? It hit me like a train when all the pictures of my 18 birthday came back to me. I remember going to the cliff and listening on the Moon but I couldn’t remember what it said.  I remember the weird sensation on my forehead before blacking out. I walked to the stream and winced at my reflection, I looked like a mess. I had sand all over me, my hair was a mess not to mention I was still in my dress that looked really dirty.  But the main thing that stood out was the faint silver-ish mark on my forehead.  A Half moon. I felt the presence of my wolf, she felt much more powerful now. I looked back at Teresa and Jackson. I met Teresa’s gaze but she quickly bowed her head in submission. I shifted my gaze to Jackson who was watching me lustfully but after a moment bowing his head just the slightest.
