Having spent my entire Christmas break writing extra credit assignments to bring my grades back up, I was confident that I wouldn’t let school get away from me this semester. I had also started mentoring under Isra on the weekends at the small cottage house she was renting. Dr. Charlotte ended up selling the old Victorian house back to the academy, but Isra said it wouldn’t be ready for students until the spring. I guess getting rid of Ruth Rivers’s shadow would take some time. In the meantime, Isra was really helping me take control of my visions and dreams. She also helped me manage my sleep better.
