Kryzen gripped my hand tightly as we walked up to the temple an hour later. I drew in a steadying breath, frustrated with myself for breaking down like that right before we were set to leave.
I couldn't explain the uneasiness I felt in my gut. It was so much more than that. There was a sense of foreboding as well, a dark shadow that seemed to be hovering over me, waiting for me to fail this quest.
