I awoke the next morning completely bathed in warmth. I blinked once before snuggling deeper into the cozy cocoon I was encased in. It was still pretty early judging by how dimly lit my bedroom was. I felt a bit of stiffness in my limbs and shifted to try and roll over onto my other side but found myself trapped.
My eyes popped open when I realized that I wasn't alone in my bed. I immediately relaxed as the memories of the previous night with Kryzen came flooding back. I shivered with delight as I recalled the way he held me and my name sounded on his lips.
I was amazed that he didn't wake up as I moved in his strong arms and pushed myself up onto my forearms so that I could look at his face.
I didn't imagine Kryzen Stormfall to be a light sleeper, but I found myself grateful
