“Kyle…let me take a nap….” Elisha yawned while rubbing her tummy. We were in a car and driving to pick up Gideon from our mansion. Sam and Tom would finally go on their long-awaited honeymoon to Hawaii.
It was my birthday gift for Sam, and it took them two months to decide that they both needed it. They were swamped with their work, and since they had been doing great with their respective careers, the couple made up their mind to chill minus Gideon in the meantime.
“Okay, baby…” I smiled at her, kissing the back of her hand before letting it go. I focused my eyes on the road and drove safely.
The time passed by quickly. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned to months. Elisha was already nearly eight months pregnant, and we were scheduled for her bi-weekly check-up.
