“Skylar,” Arthur Calvin called me while I played in the garden with Gideon. After giving Elisha her me-time, I decided to take the boy to run outside. The weather was fine, not too cold or freezing.
“Yes, sir. Good morning,” I looked at the man and smiled at him. He was with his wife Christa, and it seemed they had just returned from their morning walk.
“My daughter told me that you and Elisha are going to her doctor’s appointment,” Arthur replied.
