Alexis continued the ultrasound. I discovered that my baby girl was heavier than our baby boy though he seemed longer. She recorded the images and videos and then gave the printed pictures to us. Alexis also said she would send us the digital copies to my email so we could keep them forever.
“I suggest you stay home in the meantime,” Alexis added. “Do not travel and avoid any physically straining activities. And Kyle, please ensure the bathroom has non-slippery mats, yes?”
“Yes, Alexis… I mean, doc,” I nodded, smiling at Elisha’s blank face. She didn’t seem to agree but didn’t seem to object either.
“I know you will take care of Elisha and your twins. You’ve been Gideon’s dad and know the drill,” Alexis smiled at me.
