"Oh! You did all these just because of me? Rita asked with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Your life is more important. I had no other choice than to agree to her terms" Janel replied.
"Yeah, I knew it. I knew Madam Karen wouldn't bring such an amount of money without something coming from the receiver's end" Rita thought.
"She also couldn't help it"Janel informed.
"Her words 'We are wired to help each other', are now properly understood. I'm very sorry dear that your life will change to an entirely different turn because of me. I'm proud to be your mother, and proud of your great courage" Rita endorses, with many tears on her face.
Johnson sat by her side and gave her a body warm by wrapping his body over hers, while Janel discussed with her from the kitchen. She dished out the meal' Rice and Stew' to the parlor, where it would be more convenient for Rita to consume. Janel then opened the curtains to permit natural Light into the house, and the beauties of the early morning set the table for some fresh conversation of peace. They seized the opportunity to discuss further on their future.
"By tomorrow evening, I would be signing a contract marriage with Kyle Devale in the court and the sum of one million dollars would be sent to my bank account," She said.
"Better days ahead sis" Johnson spoke with a cheering voice although, his tone secretly appeared pitied. He wished not to remind his sister of her pains and so, he was very careful with his words and actions.
"Mom, I would hand over some amount of money to you for Johnsons' tertiary studies. He should be registered in the best private university in Britain" Janel highlighted.
"Wow, that's great. I would finally study Medicine. Thanks a lot, sis" He happily thanked her.
"Mother, you will set up the business you've always dreamed of, and I…"
"You will come out from every pain my child. It wasn't an easy thing for you to bargain your life and happiness just because of us. I love you" Rita interrupted her speech, encouraging and stirring her.
While they were having good times, a jeep from Karen came packing around their house. Just then, she remembered that her attention would be needed in the hall where their wedding reception would be held. She had earlier agreed last night to participate along with Kyle, in the preparation.
"How soon did you forget" Rita asked.
"Honestly, I forgot" Janel replied.
"Rush to have a bath and attend"Rita urged.
"Yes Mom"
She departs.
An hour later, she was present in the hall center. The Devale is once again having the headline in the news concerning tomorrow's marriage. Janel was seen by several people and journalists, heavily surrounded by police and bodyguard personnel. She prevented the newsmen and women from speaking a word with her as she hated to be on the screen or newspaper pages.
Kyle accompanied by Natasha his girlfriend, came towards her. He held her waist and kissed her before everyone. She pretended with a false smile because she knew that their acts would be posted on all social media channels. They walked away majestically.
The real day approached for the wedding with Thursday appearing sunny and friendly. That morning, Brendan, Janel's ex-boyfriend whom people always mistook for being his husband, visited.
He was briefed on the phone some days ago by Johnson, on the reasons why Janel was marrying Kyle, which immediately nailed their breakup.
He came purposely to see Rita and share in the family's joy of a successful surgery.
He was also served a morning meal by Janel, and the family had a good time with him.
If not for what happened, Janel chose him among millions and Rita also supported. It was clear that the baton had changed and circumstances and chance controlled the story under the watch of their pen. He wished Janel his most lover well as she prepared to be in her new home. Truly, Brandon defined true love to her by swallowing every stone that would endanger her and put her family to destruction. During their conversations, he was about to speak of a debt when Kyle and Natash entered the sitting room.
Five hours later, the scene saw Janel and Kyle signing the contract marriage document in a London court before hundreds of friends, family members, and well-wishers. Although, many don't know it was a contract marriage. After this, they drove to the reception hall where attendees ate and drank to their fill. The atmosphere was full of entertainment in different spheres.
That night in their room, with Natasha's willful absence, Kyle couldn't imagine that he would have one of the most beautiful ladies laid before him. One of his dreams has always been to sleep with Janel and this he harboured since ten years ago, when she was just eighteen. At this point, he sincerely apologizes to her concerning their beef-up that happened ten years ago. He knew he was hated because of that by Janel and if not because of circumstances, She would never agree to speak words with him, not to talk of allowing him to touch her. He sees the hate in her and is ashamed of himself.
"I am sorry for that" He pleaded.
She looked at him and understood a charm in him. Of course, she is here for business and that's all.
"No. Issues" She replied
He inspired the room with romantic music ranging from Celine Dion and Whitney Houstons. In order to heal their hearts, they danced sexually, with him rolling her like a circuit girl turning. Their body spoke more words than mouth and soon, they fell in love for the first time. This new development was betrayed by kisses and romances that saw them exploiting their bodies.
He finally undressed her, after getting the green light to do so, and willingly, she fell on the bed.
