Book 1: A Mother Before a Mate: Just weeks after Lexi's parents are killed by rogues, she finds an abandoned baby in the forest. Even though she's only 18, Lexi feels a connection to this child (Molly) and decides to raise the child as her own. When Molly is a toddler, Lexi meets Alpha Jack Lavard, her mate. Book 2: A Beta Before an Alpha: This book revolves around Zac Slade, who was previously Jack Lavard's Beta, but is now the Alpha of "Red River Pack".
Zac is learning the ropes and trying to better his new pack when Lauren, a beautiful she-wolf turns up working in a bar run by humans. Zac finds himself drawn to her.
Lauren never imagined that when she found her fated mate on her birthday, that it would be the Alpha of her pack. She also never imagined that he wouldn't want her and that he'd be cruel and emotionally abusive. When she can’t take the abuse anymore, she flees and ends up in a small town on the other side of the country. There she finds she is also drawn to a handsome Alpha Zac. When Lauren’s ex Alpha finds out she's moved on, he's filled with jealousy and rage. After an attempted abduction of Lauren, Zac brings his and Jack's pack to the jealous Alphas. A battle ensues, and Zac and Jack are victorious. Zac then decides to help others that are abused and mistreated by strong Alphas and strong rogue packs. No one should be subjected to abuse like his mate was before she found him. They ended up having three children: Alivia (Livy), Cash, and Camilla (Cami).
