Hailey's smile turned to a frown the moment Mason made that statement. Agnes immediately added her mouth.
"Hailey, your friend in elementary school, the both of you built a playhouse together, here's a picture of you two when you first played on it" Agnes opened a picture and passed it to him.
Mason stretched his hands and Agnes thought he wanted to take it but he took a spoon and dished some soup for himself, startling both Agnes and Hailey.
"Aunt Agnes, you said elementary school so I don't remember. I don't have a long memory capacity" he spoke without sparing Hailey any glance.
