"It's been a while Mr harrison" Mr Hart said
Seated opposite to Mr Harrison whose secretary was right next to him holding his schedule in the conference room.
"Sure it has" Mr Harrison replied
"Well as you know due to the engagement our both companies are at a tile I would rather we seal it up with the marriage and become one which would ofcourse result in improved productivities of both of our companies. I think it's better we pick a date quite fast in order to block obstacles" Mr Hart said
"Hmn....I see...Mr Hart the merger was been arranged without my consent between you and my grandparents not regarding my suggestion on my life......I was even engaged without my consent....This engagement.....is called off"
Ethan said while he got up.
"Hold on Mr Ethan, if there is anyway that Lily might have offended you please show mercy...I mean the engagement had been done long ago and you just started opposing now" Mr Hart pleaded
Ethan gave deaf ears and left
On the way back to his office Emily wondered why he called off the engagement
"you do know that this decision is bad for your reputation" Emily asked avoiding ethan eyes.
He stopped then looked at her and replied
"Life is too short not to spend it with someone you love"
"Then you should surely follow your heart" Emily said confusingly
"Ooo I will" He replied
"Emily" He called out to her
But she was lost in his eyes and was not in her right state of mind
"Emily" He called again
"Uhm...yes......yes.....yes sir" She replied in a confused manner
"Are you okay?" Ethan asked her
"yes sir I am" she replied smiling
"What is on the schedule next" He asked she realesed her rather alerted brows and said
"Dinner with the Jane heiress" Holding on tightly to the executive agenda .
"Ooo....cancel it" He said
"Sir...?" She asked looking confused
He put is hands I his pocket and said with a more certain look
"I said cancel it....I don't have time to be meeting with heiressess they are not the business I am here for"
"OK sir" She said while she walked away and smiled deviously
"This little bunny really got my attention" Ethan thought-smiling.
Immediately he got into his office he picked his phone and called his friend interested CRAs- Consumer Resarch Agency and told him to run a background check on Emily Williams.
"I need every single details, do not miss out anyone" Ethan added.
