Chapter 29 - Dues and allegiance

                    ‘Dinner,’ her mind kept repeating.  Hell, she shot men, fought hand to hand, tortured others and dealt with pissier men than anyone should ever have needed to, and yet, the thought of meeting Damian’s mom made her scared.  Well, perhaps it had something to do with the fact that she hadn’t been down that road before.  Maybe it made everything all the more serious to her and she hadn’t thought it would have been anytime soon?                 “I’m all for you getting a damn good f**k, but your ass needs to zone in on the s**t going down shortly.”  Angel glanced over at Ric who was driving them to her now fixed bar to handle this tribute.  She slapped his arm and he laughed.  “What?”                 “My s*x life doesn’t need to come out of your mouth again.”
