Chapter 3 Courtney

I had everything now I have nothing everyone I loved my family my pack gone. I just wanted to live alone or die which ever came first. I am 19 and been on my own since I was 12 due to rouge attacks by the former king of the rouges Demetri. Now there is a new king of the rouges that killed Demetri in a challenge and his name is James. He is a decent rouge unlike some but he wants power just like most alpha blood kids that is why he became rouge he was not the eldest son and wanted power. Now he wants us to attack and overtake the Silver Back's pack and want none other than me by his side. He is not my mate Iris and me know that he isn't. Still we don't like him but being by his side makes the abuse stop from the other wolves that are unmated. One thing they didn't tell us in pack history is men rouges are aggressive if they are not mated and me being a beta's daughter couldn't just take a hit while most I won some I didn't but since James took over no more attacks have accrued which I was grateful. So Iris and me agreed that this was the best solution till we found your mate or death since we refuse to be a coward and kill your self's. Iris still prays to the moon goddess to give us a purpose our mate. I am starting to lose hope but I love my wolf to much to tell her to stop.

"Courtney honey the spy just reported that tomorrow night the new Alpha of the Silver Back's will be conducted it will be a great thing to ruin. Can you believe the new Alpha is a woman! A BLOODY WOMAN!! She does not have what it takes to be leader this will be a piece of cake!" he says laughing coming up to hug me. Iris nearly jumped for control to rip him apart I had to remind her be smart she huffed and backed off.

"Really a woman? But how her mate should make her be Luna not Alpha?" she replies. Never since the moon goddess herself was Alpha before she said it was time to go to the moon realm has a woman been Alpha so I was intrigued.

"The spy said she passed the trails and convinced the elders of her pack that since the Alpha her farther was hurt and she would be 18 tomorrow that she could be Alpha till she finds her mate and the elders decided to let her. IDIOTS!!! Women can't lead." he says as I can tell he upset and insulted while I for some own reason really want to meet this girl that could convince a bunch of men wolves to let her lead she mush be something and Iris was on edge to wanting to see the Alpha that was a women.

"I know James you will win I am sure and I know you want to make an entrance on the day but just here me out before you speak okay promise?" I ask he looks like he wants to protest but he also values me more than the other me so he nodded for me to continue.

"Every celebration comes with a party and lets face facts both sides are still recovering from the attack two months ago so instead of running when they are expecting an attack wait till the morning when they are asleep and possibly hungover to save your numbers?" I say to him hoping that he will agree for one it a better plan and two give me the chance to sneak in and see this girl.

" You are right sweetheart good idea. okay than I am off to plan I will be back tomorrow night to celebrate the down fall of Silver Back's pack with you and maybe you will actually let me take you to bed love." he said as he was leaving I knew I had to make a plan he been patient but no man could date with out s*x and definitely no a man that a werewolf.
