Chapter 2 Alex

" So Miss Alpha are we attend class or training today?' Wayne asks as we walk in the school.

"Well Mr Beta to be I say why change on your last day last one to the pit has to carry the other one back to my house we done with me kicking your ass. Deal?" I say knowing he can never turn down a bet especially when I am the one making bets. He been my friend my whole life I am not a girly girl at all if I had it my way I would be in basketball shorts a t-shirt all day. And Wayne had never saw me as anything but an equal is the first and only time he tried teasing me when we were little and I gave him a bloody nose.

"Well start stretching cause I so gonna win!!" Wayne yelled as he was already running to the pit.

"Cheat!!!" I yell running after him.

By the time we got there I had over ran him and was sitting on the grass waiting on him.

"You would think after all these years you would learn I always win Wayne." I say as he falls down and gulping for air.

"Ya you would think. I still can't believe how you do that you and your wolf cheat!" he says than backs a way as Trish not liking being called a cheat takes over and lets a warring growl out. I agreed with her on this Trish was very dominate for a female wolf and therefor she and me strived to be the best.

"Sorry Sorry Alex just messing with you" he says as he hold his hands up in a I come in peace motion.

I left him squirming for a few seconds than laughed at his pale face as he starts laughing with me.

"Mr Beta you would think you would learn don't mess with Trish she beats your wolf everytime and I can you face it the Alpha always wins." I say grinning

"Ya ya alex, but Mr Beta gets all the dates." he say to me which is true. Wayne was a player and me I wanted to wait on my mate even though me and Trish were not positive we did feel that your mate was not from this pack and that worried us, but not much we can do about it the moon goddess herself choices your mates based on charter and what will balance your temper or so I am told.

"Yes you win on that lets train. Remember we have to be back early today for the pack dinner." I say he nods and we train for the rest of the afternoon.

Later after Wayne carried me back after losing the bet to win in training I was talking a shower before dinner. Since the rouge attack that injured dad we eat meals as one hole pack for moral and safety with the best warriors on patrol . If the pack house was big enough we would all live under the same roof but due to space we put the warriors in the house around the pack house and the children and unmated she wolfs in the pack house. The elders that sit at the head of the table till after the ceremony when I will be in the center of them dings there glasses for a final toast of the night.

" Silver Back's tonight is the last night of one reign to the beginning of another. Alex is a woman that passed all the test we set in front of her to pass the Alpha trails and we can not be more proud to be lead by the new age to a new future. So cheer's to Alex the new Alpha to the SILVER BACKS!!!!" he yells and everyone howls in agreement.

After dinner I ran up to my room to Skype dad to tell him what the elders said. He was very proud of me and looked a lot better than the last time we talked he told me he loved me and that he was sorry for everything after that I went to bed with me and Trish thinking tomorrow will be the first day of a long journey with a nagging feeling something big was about to happen we just didn't know what.
